Learning objective: Use iMovie to complete digital storytelling task

1. Focus on skills and abilities central to the disciple as it requires students to understand its basic operation and its assistance in storytelling. Instead of professional standard, students only need to use basic functions.


2. Clear and specific enough to be measurable in the aspect of IT adoption in education as this topic (the use of iMovie) can specifically train students' ability on using this app and it is generally enough to capture students' understanding on different category of apps for education.

3. Focus on aspects of learning that will develop and endure as students but that can be assessed in some form now as students are required to complete it as one of their formative assessments. 

4. Are student-focused as students will have opportunity to try iMovie on the class and the lecturer will provide assistance if necessary. 

5. Focus on the learning resulting from an activity as students are required to complete an assignment by using iMovie (digital storytelling group assignment) and grades and feedbacks will be given by lecturer.

6. Reflect the institution's mission and the values it represents as this topic can upgrade students' information literacy.

7. Are in alignment at course, academic program, institutional levels as this topic can improve students' IT skills and IT adoption in education, hence, it enhances students' spirit of e-leadership. 

8. Focus on important, non-trivial aspects of learning that are credible to the public as it promotes students' digital literacy and 21st century workplace skills.
