PACT analysis
People: Primary 3 students
who study General Studies in local primary schools.

Cognitive characteristic: level and duration of attention is low, they are
energetic and prefer having outdoor activities rather than sitting in the
classroom.
·
Physical characteristic: age range between 8-10 without any disabilities
·
Motivation: ask students to go to the checkpoints to attract their attention
·
Expectation: students can identify and memorize different types of leaf
and collaboratively work with peers
·
Culture: STEM culture that inspires students to explore more
science-related knowledge
·
Special needs: Group work (select team leader for each group) to
take care of AD/HD students

Adventure

Goal: teach students to identify different types of plants
·
Tasks: real-time teaching (give four types of leafs for students to touch
and smell); Powerpoint teaching (teachers use ppt to brief students about the rundown); digital adventure (students need to find out the leafs in the park
by using EduVentureX to answer questions in each check point and QR code
to scan detailed information of each leaf); Group presentation (mindmapping by using Popplet)
and individual task (Kahoot! quiz)
